Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. (BBVA) informs that its subsidiary in Colombia, BBVA Colombia, has won the public auction held by the "Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras FOGAFIN”,  for 98,78 % of the subscribed and paid up share capital of Banco Granahorrar S.A. 

The price offered by BBVA Colombia for the acquisition of Banco Granahorrar S.A. was USD 423,66 millions.

The transaction will be executed as soon as the authorizations from the supervisory and regulatory institutions are duly obtained.
